- A gang led by a mysterious vigilante named Archangel begins creating problems for the major gangs on Omega. After one of Archangel's followers, Lantar Sidonis, betrays him, his gang is smashed.
- One of Omega's red-light districts becomes terrorized by "Mad Mary", a rogue Alliance offcer.
- After centuries of hostile isolation, the lirrax invade the asari world Tamaris and wage a genocidal campaign. Their invasion coincides with a jailbreak at the orbiting L'Shero Correctional Station, and through a bizarre series of events, human prisoner Justine Marsters overthrows the lirrax High Queen Vatra Alirr.
- The raloi, an avian species native to the planet Turvess, launch their first space telescope and discover the asari cruiser Avedes, resulting in their first contact with an alien species.
- The freighter MSV Estravanico is attacked by mercenaries affiliated with the Blood Pack, and crashes into the planet Zanethu. This is later noted as the first known contact between the Alliance and the vorcha.
- The terrorist group Totenkopf attack Gagarin Station with a biological weapon.
- Operation: Forgiveness Is For The Forgotten is assigned to Spectre Euri T'Rishka.
- Urdnot Lok creates Thresher Squad after learning of the death of his brood brother Urdnot Maak at the hands of Jonathan Allen.
