Akihiro "Jackie" Mifune was an Alliance Engineer serving aboard the SSV Ypres. Discharged after sustaining severe injuries during a mission to save Nakamuraza Station, Mifune later attempted to get revenge against Emmanuelle Sharon, his commanding officer during the Nakamuraza mission, whom he blamed for his discharge.
