Albuquerque was Earth's oldest and largest publically-owned spaceport, a tremendous center of interstellar commerce right in the middle of the American Southwest. The city was considered to be beautiful by human standards, renowned for its food, music, sunsets, and its status as a cultural and commercial hub.
