Anoska'Jakkan is the quarian resident of Rannoch and the wife of Sal Polaris. Before becoming his wife, Anoska originally led the path of his merge into quarian society.

Sal's Arrival on Rannoch

“Everything sure is great since we set foot on our homeworld. We only wear suits not because that we have weak immune systems, but because it's a bigger part of us. What's a bigger part of you, Sal?”

In 2192, Sal had been requested by Admiral Zaal'Koris to come to Rannoch. Anoska, like others with her, were tasked with his joining into quarian society and she was the very person to grant him his own name that would fit the quarian people's cultural language. Over the past 3 years, Anoska developed enamoured feelings for him against the warnings of her peers who were only tasked with helping him adapt to their way of life. Despite the warnings, she continued to spend time with him at some points throughout his changes.

Sal throughout those 3 years, had remained vigilant of Anoska's growing affection him, despite the obvious hints of repudiation toward her growing feelings to him.
