The Aramanae System was a small star system in the Olipsius Nebula Cluster, located in the Terminus Systems. The Aramanae System was located almost directly between the Fortik System, which contained a mass relay, and the Ruvion System, which contained the colony of Retslom, which was a major shipping port in the region. The distance between the Fortik and Ruvion Systems was considerable, and ships travelling to Retslom needed considerable fuel to complete a round trip from the Fortik System to Retslom. Thus, a fuel depot was constructed in the Aramanae system to ensure that ships would have enough fuel to be able to complete the trip.
Unfortunately, in 2178, a Blue Suns Captain named Fariel Terasiv conquered the Aramanae System. Terasiv understood the importance of the system's fuel depot, and began to charge large sums of credits in exchange for access to the depot, and ships attempted to use the depot without paying were either destroyed or had their crews forced to work as slaves for Terasiv.
