The Blackiron Corporation is a human-owned corporation headquartered on Illium. Founded by Temple Blackiron in the wake of the Reaper invasion, the company has quickly become known for its extremely advanced technology, particularly in the field of prosthesis.
Since its emergence, Blackiron has faced various accusations, including that it is providing weaponry to criminal gangs, that it is orchestrating the sabotage of other companies, and that it employs former members of Cerberus. Thus far, these allegations have yet to be proven.
