Charlotte Beauclaire is a captain in the Systems Alliance Navy, and the Commanding Officer of the SSV Hegra.
History[]
Charlotte was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to a Haitian father and a French mother. When she was fifteen years old, she attracted the attention of Adm. Evelyn Gargosh, an old friend of her father's from his time in the Alliance Navy. Gargosh charmed her with gifts and stories of his adventures in space, and eventually he convinced her to marry him, much to her parents' horror.
Behind the scenes[]
- In the novelized version of Mass Effect: Manipulation, Charlotte's last name is Bachelet, a tribute to composer Pierre Bachelet, who co-wrote the theme Emmanuelle in the Mirror (from which Emmanuelle Sharon's forename is derived.)
