Chaza Merchants Army[]
The Chaza Merchants Army is an elite private military organization under the control of the Commontrade, the rulers of Chaza . The army was founded in 2014CE by Nirael Ceer, a former STG operative. the purpose of the army is to defend and maintain the Chaza Space Station, a large space station orbiting Canctra in the Century system.
Unlike other cities and space stations in the Terminus Systems , Chaza owns a diciplined military, and can therefor remain independent from any mercenary organizations. The Chaza Merchants Army has seen a lot of action since its founding, including uprisings, terrorism, and wild pirate bands raging havoc in the Chaza region.
The army is funded solely by the collective effort of the Commontrade, so money has never been a problem when it comes to maintaining the army. The army is multi-species based, so members from all races can be seen among the ranks of the Chaza Merchants Army, including Batarians , Salarians , Asari , and Humans . a few Krogan regiments are also enlisted, but they are primarily dispatched as shock troopers or enforcers.
Enlisted Troops: 235.200 troops (Currently 100% of the forces are presumed MIA or KIA)
Enlisted Fleets: 5 currently active fleets, 2 non-active fleets (All the active fleets were wiped out in the reaper attack)
Base of operations: Chaza Space Station
Affiliation: The Chaza Commontrade
Appearence[]
Chaza Merchants Army troops can be identified by the metal Chaza insignia on their shoulderpads, and the white and orange color scheme usually used by rank and file soldiers of the army.
Current Status[]
When the reapers attacked in 2186 CE, much of the fleet was instantly decimated. A handful of evacuation vessels and cruisers managed to escape while the remnants of the fleet sacrificed their lives to battle the reapers. A few thousand soldiers were left behind in the smoldering ruins of the space station, and struggled to survive against the incoming reaper groundforces. Almost everyone in the Chaza Merchants Army was wiped out or worse, and everybody else was presumed MIA.
