Lieutenant Commander Dmitri Chevetski was the older brother of Yuri Chevetski and was a member of the Systems Alliance who attempted to sell Alliance military secrets to the Batarian Hegemony. He was sentenced to life in prison after a lengthy trial. He was originally sentenced to death but Yuri pleaded with the judges to sentence him to life in prison, saying that it was worse to have him spend his life in jail than die by firing squad. The lead judge, a friend of Yuri and Dmitri's father, complied with Yuri and sentenced Dmitri to life in prison on Purgatory Prison Station. He was killed during the riot on Purgatory in 2185.
