Eloise "Ellie" Beaumont was a human astrophysics student at Hawking-Tyson University and the main protagonist of the Mass Effect: Event Horizon Series. She is also the legal guardian of her younger, autistic brother Parson.
Early Life[]
Born on the planet of Bekenstein to an Alliance Naval Officer and a Citadel Ambassador, Ellie was exposed to several alien cultures from a young age and developed a fascination for learning all that there was to learn about the galaxy and those who live in it. From a young age, it was clear that Ellie had been blessed with a brilliant mind, throughout her early education, she excelled in the subjects of science, mathematics and physics. Upon reaching the age of 18, she had received scholarship offers from the most prestigious institutions in Alliance Space, but ultimately decided to enroll in Hawking-Tyson University on the planet of Watson, as it was the only University that offered her a full-ride (that wasn't on Bekenstein, of course).
