First Squad (SSV Midway)

The SSV Midway's First Squad was a group of Systems Alliance marines which were deployed on various field missions across the Attican Traverse, a region of space bordering the particularly lawless region of space known as the Terminus Systems. First Squad, like the majority of Systems Alliance Navy squads, was typically composed of three members. While Captain Nick Salvatore commanded the SSV Midway, First Squad was composed of Gunnery Chief Daniel Arbor, Johun Shepard, who would later become the first Human Spectre, the elite agents who enforced the will of the Citadel Council throughout the galaxy, and Nigel O'Conner. Though on numerous occasions, First Squad was composed of only two, and, sometimes even one, member.
