As those who visit Wikia Central may know, Wikia began implementing an achievements system that practically overtakes the whole edit count system (though your edit count can still in the special pages section). I believe we should, at the least, discuss a possibility of using this as its a good way of staying new and taking full advantage of what wikia is providing. When discussing, remember to remain civil and sign your posts. --BluethunderContact 01:41, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

- I think we should really take advantage of what wiki provides. -BluethunderContact 01:41, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
- I've been wikia to know to take the advantages. [I have returned.][From the eternal abyss] [I have traveled to many places.][The Past, Future, and Present]The End Comes
- I like the idea. Who will be in charge of naming, icons, and requirements though? Foxtrot12 02:19, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
- This would be a great way to implement a good feeling of accomplishment after editing.

How do you implement the system? [I have returned.][From the eternal abyss] [I have traveled to many places.][The Past, Future, and Present]The End Comes
- The wiki's admin has to contact Wikia through special:contact and request to have it added. I don't know how long it will take, though. -BluethunderContact 01:57, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
@Foxtrot's question: naming, icons and requirements will be done by me as I think admins are the only ones that can. I'll try to make them fun and challenging, though. -BluethunderContact 02:25, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
Alright good to have clarifaction. I thought the process would be community proposals and voting. Who knows how long that would take. When the achievements are implemented will our previous work count towards them?Foxtrot12 02:43, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
- From what I've heard, I think it will. -BluethunderContact 03:42, July 31, 2010 (UTC)
