Staff Sergeant Georgie 'Anchor Seven-Eight' Williams was an Alliance marine and Ranger of Asian descent. He served the Alliance for eight years before his death at the hands of the geth in the Battle of the Citadel.
Williams' first posting was on the cruiser SSV Tortuga, where he worked on Red Team, a five-man squad led by Major Rufus Floyd and his second-in-command, Corporal Franklin Belock. As a sniper, Williams was first deployed in the boarding of the Octus Mo, a batarian slaver ship which provided limited orbital bombardment on Elysium during the Skyllian Blitz. The raid was a success, with Williams killing seventeen batarians and earning a bronze star for bravery.
After the Blitz, Williams became an Alliance Ranger and Staff Sergeant, serving the leader of Ambassador Donnel Udina's security team, which was entirely comprised of Rangers. He worked there until the Battle of the Citadel in 2183 CE, where he helped Udina evacuate the Citadel through the C-Sec Academy and helped him board the frigate, the SSV Vicksburg.
With Udina secured, Williams then led his team to aid Major Jake Branden's team in defending the C-Sec Academy. He led a team of rangers in the defense of the east wing where he killed thirteen geth and five krogan before the Battlemaster Vrek Kotik killed him with a throwing axe from eighteen yards away. With Williams dead, defense of the wing was given to Sergeant Tyler McDougal, who held it without taking any more causalities. Williams posthumously received a second Bronze Star, and was buried on his home world of Earth, at a veteran's cemetery in Virginia.
