Gunnery Chief Jason Cross is an N7 Soldier in the Systems Alliance. He is currently a member of Omega Squad on the SSV Troy, serving as the Gunnery Officer.
Biography[]
Jason was born on Earth in New York City in 2159. After his father died from a stroke and his mother was gunned down in front of him, Jason was taken in by his great-uncle and taught how to defend himself in some of New York's crime-ridden streets. In 2177, he took it upon himself to join the military, hoping to use his skills to defend others.
Shortly after joining the N7 ranks, Cross became one of the first candidates for the Alliance program to turn exceptional soldiers of the N7 into the battle-hardened N7 Destroyer Soldiers. Due to his incredible physique, he was capable of using the new T5-V Battlesuits with relative ease in combat.
Personality & Appearance[]
Despite his massive, threatening appearance, Jason is a very kind person. He is very protective of those close to him, willing to sacrifice his life to keep them safe. He is also strongly opposed to alien discrimination, especially the hostility towards quarians. Despite his calm, caring persona outside combat, Jason is a very intimidating figure on any battlefield. Towering at six foot four and incredibly strong, Cross is literally the muscle of Omega Squad. His physique is pure muscle, and he is even able to best Jessica Nolan in hand-to-hand combat through sheer brute force; however, with Jessica's biotics, she has a slight advantage over Cross.

Jason attempts to treat others with respect and kindness, so long as he believes that they deserve such respect.
Alexis Monroe[]
Since their first encounter, Alexis and Jason have grown very close. Their relationship is at first described as being "like a brother and sister." His calm demeanor is offset by Monroe's near-constant cursing. The two trade jokes at each other regularly.
