Lamar Tarleton or "LT" was a former N7 and a Cerberus wetwork operative before defecting to fight the Reapers alongside several other Cerberus turncoats. He founded Cerberus Nova with the help of multiple ex-Cerberus personnel.
Early Life[]
Tarelton was born in 2149 CE on Mars. His father, Oswald Tarleton, was killed in the First Contact War and his mother committed suicide shortly thereafter. These tragedies warped his mind and caused him to have racist sentiments for the turian race.
Early Alliance Career[]

Upon turning 18, Tarelton followed in his father's footsteps and enlisted in the Systems Alliance Military. His first assignment was to Terra Nova as a Colonial Guard. Just a few months into his assignment, he helped fight off a Batarian raid, single-handedly eliminating a full squadron of Batarian extremists. The commander of the Alliance Terra Nova guard saw Lamar's natural combat ability and knew he would be wasted as a mere colonial guard. He then had Lamar sent to the Interplanetary Combatives Training Program in Rio de Janiero and at the age of 20, he earned the designation of N6, specializing in extra-vehicular combat and became the youngest person to have ever earned it.
Mass Effect: Faustian Bargain[]
After earning the N6 designation, Lamar Tarleton was assigned to N7 Zeta Team, a wetwork squad part of the Alliance's 1st Intelligence and Reconnaissance Precinct as part of his "Proving Ground" test to earn the designation of N7. His first mission with the squad involved infiltrating a Skyllian Batarian slaver ship known as Kharik's Fist, while Slaver raids were common in the Skyllian Verge, the Alliance began to discover in unsual pattern in the Slavers' raids and wanted to investigate. Lamar was paired up with fellow Ensign Olivia Thompson and Zeta Tech Specialist Li Tai to find whatever they could in regards to the pattern.
The Psychos[]
Upon being promoted to Lieutenant Commander, Lamar was made the commanding officer of the 13th Urgent Situations and Tasks Unit which he then dubbed "The Psychos."

Personality[]
Lamar is known for his calm, no-nonsense approach to combat and his zero tolerance of failure. Off the battlefield, Lamar is known for his sarcasm, laid backness and casual disposition.
