Mass Effect: Lost in Space is a novel taking place in the Mass Effect series written by AtlantisUchiha.
Synopsis[]
When Commander Shepard activated the Crucible with the Citadel, the Mass Relays collapse, along with the Prime Relay which had the SSV Requiem, a former Systems Alliance starship to be the lost to the stars.
After 300 years since its disappearance, captain Alexander Cook was woken from cyronic-sleep by its AI due being above a unidentified planet and also a unidentified ship coming towards them. When Alexander had the AI scan the starship, it opened fired, causing server damage to the hull. Quickly, Alexander had crewman awoken and into battle stations. However, the unidentified starship fired a powerful "electromagentic pulse" which completely shut down all forms of systems, including artificial gravity, life support and the ion engines. Due to this, SSV Requiem was then pulled towards the planet by its gravitational force, making the starship enter the atmosphere, and crash land on the planet's surface.
Stranded on a possible hostile planet, and no way to repair the ship, the crew of SSV Requiem must try to make contact with any ship, and stay alive against the threat in orbit of the planet.
