Nick Salvatore was a male human who served in the Systems Alliance Navy and became the captain of the SSV Midway. He was regarded as one of the better military strategists in the Systems Alliance Third Fleet, and participated in the liberation of Mindoir, a human colony in the Attican Traverse, a dangerous region of space on the outskirts of the Terminus Systems. Nick rescued the young teenager named Johun Shepard, who would later go on to become one of the Citadel Council's most skilled and deadly agents, the Spectres.
