The Phoenix Class Cruiser Carrier, is one of the largest warships designed and used by that of the Cerberus and its new Paramilitary Forces. It was designed and developed by the Minutemen Shipyards and the overall chief research and development think tank know as the Cerberus Skunkworks to be one of the central warship designs of the new Cerberus Paramilitary Forces. Thanks to this it is designed to be a hybrid design between that of a heavy cruiser and that of a light carrier, able to not only serve as a frontline warship but able to carry its own embarked craft including fighters, shuttles, gunships, or even hover tanks. Thanks to Cerberus new overall mission and self responsibility for the various non-Alliance human colonies of the Terminus they are named after attacked or destroyed colonies.

- The overall hull design and visual of the Phoenix Class is heavily based on that of the Liberator Class Cruiser from Star Wars Rebellion video game, though the overall image shown by the page for the ship on Wookiepedia is instead from the ship's aft instead of the front end of the ship.
- The idea for using colony names and such for the ship names of these ships was actually as a means to separate the whole design and such from that of the Systems Alliance Navy cruiser line of ships.
