The SSV Manhattan was named after the battle of Manhattan in which the Alliance fought the Reds. The city was destroyed and a starship was named several years after. The ship captained by Ivory Opan and Brian Chase was the relief captain. The ship was stationed on outer planets that were being attacked by aliens.
