No offense, but this seems a bit... god-modded and not very Mass-Effecty at all.
@Anomynous User who did not sign his name: I'm kind of a noob to the Mass Effect Universe, although I enjoy its story a lot. It was godmodded a little, but I'm trying to work out the kinks. The first version of the page made the HSTD soldier's armor seem overpowered, but I rewrote it so it's very vulnerable in the back area (it's shield emitter is hidden in the back and it's not that protected). The armor is really heavy, so it slows the wearer down. The HSTD soldiers can be killed by someone with enough combat skills though. Although they are experienced soldiers, rarely any HSTD soldier is as powerful as Commander Shepard.
What I don't understand is what you mean Mass Effect-y. So they are a force of veteran marines from the Systems Alliance. Their technology is similar to any other Human technology in the mass effect universe. Its just the armor thats a bit advanced, but its really expensive which explains why every soldier can't have the A55 battle armor. I can't understand what you mean.
And saying its godmodded and doesn't seem like it belongs in mass effect fanon. Give me constructive criticism, especially because I'm a new user here. Tell me what areas to improve on. And most of my fanon organizations and races are collaborative. My characters don't have to be the only ones that make use of their special technology. If you have a character who has been in combat service for a while, you can have him become an HSTD trooper if you want. Really I'm not even godmodding, as you can have a character with the same exact technology. You can shoot them with a pistol four times in the back and their shields are disabled.
