The thummaagaa are mysterious beings who live deep beneath the surface of Korod. Dressed in full suits of korodium and capable of surviving beyond the hospitable zone of the planet's core, they take the bodies that the skurid bring to them during the annual "sunward pilgrimage". Very little else is known about them, including what they actually do with the bodies; the skurid believe that they carry the dead to the Crucible, but the cynical James Skinner speculated that they probably eat the bodies for sustenance.
