Vas Nedat (or Children of Nowhere in English) was a quarian militant sect that consisted of pro-geth or pro-Reaper quarians. The sect began in the Migrant Fleet when Raaya vas Rannoch became angered and disgusted with the Admiralty Board's technophobia. Raaya's group plotted to overthrow the Admiralty Board and install a government supportive of the geth. When the coup failed, Raaya and the conspirators were convicted of treason and exiled.
During the Reaper War, the Vas Nedat formed a partnership with the Reapers in order to ascend the quarian people. This partnership, however, was short-lived as the Reapers became furious with the geth's failure to protect Rannoch against the quarian onslaught. [[Harbinger[[ personally annihlated the sect with ten survivors Raaya surrendered out of fear of the Admiralty Board's wrath on collaborators.
History[]
Formation[]
100 years after the exodus from Rannoch, there were many quarians who called for a Geth-Quarian peace. But no one was more angry than Raaya vas Rannoch. Raaya was the commander of the Rannoch and that entitled him to VIP access to the Admiratly Board's meetings. Every meeting he attended, he implored the Board to make peace with the geth. His disgust began when he was banned from the Admiralty Board for his beliefs.
However, Raaya began using the Rannoch's civilian council to his needs. In one meeting, he founded the predecessors to the Vas Nedat: the Rannoch Militia, which answered to him. He removed the council's demcoratic element and transformed the council into a authoritarian and dictatorial element. Raaya smuggled in geth weaponry and the weaponry made it's way into the miltiia's hands.
